The most important moment in coffee happens weeks or months before you drink it. Roasting still happens far upstream — in centralized facilities — long before the consumer ever opens the bag. So even if you buy premium beans, freshness is already declining.
Brewing has become personalized and convenient. Today you can customize brew strength, you can choose pod convenience, you can grind fresh. But you can't roast fresh, for each person, on demand. Roasting - the foundation of flavor - is still centralized and beyond consumer's control. No current system delivers freshness + precision + simplicity at home.
Centralized roasting and extended logistics inflate the carbon footprint of every cup of coffee. Every bag of roasted coffee beans travels thousands of miles before it reaches your kitchen. Roasting is among the most resource-heave stage of coffee production. Traditional roasters use enormous amounts of energy to heat beans and add carbon to the environment in the shipping logistics.

Outer Worlds Coffee collapses roasting, grinding, and brewing into a single, software-enabled platform that brings precision, real-time roasting into the home. By pairing intelligent roast algorithms with optimized green-bean consumables, we transform an abundant commodity into a recurring revenue stream — unlocking a new appliance category.
The first integrated platform that ROASTS → GRINDS → BREWS in one seamless workflow. A breakthrough light-based vacuum roasting system enables instant brewing with true freshness. Roast-to-cup in under 5 minutes.
Based on work we did for NASA to quality control test solar panels on spacecraft, including the Parker Solar Probe currently on the closest man-made object trajectory orbiting the sun!
Smart cartridges and algorithms delivery consistent, personalized, specialty grade results. Not a prosumer device. Consumers don't need to learn roasting science. They press a button and the system will roast, grind, brew seamlessly.
Hardware + consumables + software create recurring revenue while collapsing the traditional coffee supply chain.

Outer Worlds Coffee transforms green coffee from a commodity into a platform-controlled consumable.
Green coffee supply is not a gating factor for this platform. Today, small-volume green beans are already widely accessible to consumers through multiple established channels—including major retailers like Amazon and Walmart, global coffee importers and distributors, specialty roasters, and select roast-equipment manufacturers. This existing ecosystem validates both availability and logistics at consumer scale.
Our cartridge system builds on this foundation by standardizing, qualifying, and optimizing green beans for in-home roasting, rather than inventing a new supply chain from scratch, we will source from multiple origins and partners to ensure redundancy, resilience, and price stability, while using software-defined roast profiles to manage natural variability across harvests. As volume scales, this approach enables tighter supplier partnerships and margin expansion—without introducing single-source risk.
In short, green beans are already abundant; our innovation is how they are packaged, optimized, and monetized, transforming an existing commodity into a platform-controlled consumable.
