Coffee is so life altering that many scientists have spent time evaluating its health effects. Good news for you coffee lovers! Coffee has been associated with many health benefits.
Longer life: Coffee consumption has been associated with as much as a 10% decrease in risk of death.
Heart health: drinking coffee, up to 3 cups a day, has been linked lower risk of coronary heart disease and stroke.
Diabetes: Coffee has consistently been linked to lowering risk of Type 2 Diabetes.
Even the big C, cancer, seems to have a correlation with coffee consumption. Higher amounts of coffee drinking resulted in a lower risk of prostate cancer, colon cancer, endometrial cancer, melanoma, oral cancer, leukemia, and non-melanoma skin cancer. Interestingly, coffee seems to act to both prevent cancers and therapeutically against cancer cells through antioxidant mechanisms.

A recent study determined that drinking your coffee in the morning offers even more health benefits. A US study of more than 40,000 coffee drinkers identified that getting that daily dose of coffee in the morning instead of sipping all day long lowers your risk of early death.
