Pure, Clean & Mold-Free
What you might not realize is the coffee you’re drinking may contain mold and their harmful byproducts, called mycotoxins. These are naturally occurring toxins that develop on coffee beans at various stages, from harvesting and processing to storage and transport. Regardless of when they develop, these toxins can regularly end up in your cup. There is a path to a much cleaner cup of coffee. Our roasting process and third-party testing ensures that.
Why Choose Mold-Free Coffee?
The answer for us is simple. Why drink something that’ll increase your risk of exposure to potential toxins?
REDUCE YOUR RISK
Many people, coffee drinkers among them, may be sensitive to mold and mycotoxins, experiencing symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and digestive issues. All this does is put you at risk and ruin your morning brew. Third party tested and approved mold-free coffee reduces that risk with every sip.
CLEANER ENERGY
Many coffee lovers who switch to mold-free are happier with their cleaner energy boost, avoiding jitters and that unwanted afternoon crash. This is one of the main reasons people are making the switch.

Smarter Roasting, Third-Party Approved
We roast with precision-controlled LEDs in a vacuum chamber, kicking traditional fire roasting to the curb. This is our Luminary Roast™ process, born from NASA-inspired, space-grade technology. Our vacuum roasting process gently caramelizes beans, avoiding the burnt oils and harmful compounds typical of fire roasting, and delivers a mycotoxin-free cup of coffee.
FAQs
Is organic coffee mold-free?
Even if your coffee is organic, it doesn't necessarily mean that it’s mold-free. Organic certification means your coffee is grown without harmful synthetic chemicals. While heat from roasting kills most mold, those tiny toxic chemicals called mycotoxins may remain, even in organic coffee.
At Outer Worlds Coffee, we third-party test all of our coffee to ensure it’s mold-free.
How do I know if coffee is mold-free?
Look for brands that specifically state they conduct third-party lab testing for mycotoxins. High-quality sourcing and other factors can reduce the risks of mold but testing is the best way to confirm.
Does roasting coffee kill mold and mycotoxins?
The roasting process kills mold spores, but may not entirely kill mycotoxins. That’s why it’s important to look for third-party testing.
